Join Our Team!

Have you always wanted to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity but were afraid you were unqualified?  Well, rest easy.  Skilled or unskilled, there is a special place for your talents within Habitat for Humanity.

Just click the above link for an application and you will be on your way to becoming a part of a great organization on an even greater mission.

Construction Volunteers

Volunteers work on nearly every facet of home construction, helping with dozens of tasks including framing, insulating, siding, hanging drywall, painting, even  landscaping.   Many of our Habitat volunteers help during the week as well as on weekends depending on their regular work (or retirement) schedules.  Construction volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.  Volunteering on a single job site could lead to becoming a key member of our core building team.

Restore Volunteers

Habitat ReStore is a thrift store selling new and gently used building materials, furniture, tools, and appliances and much more.  The money that is made from selling these products goes back into building safe, decent and affordable homes. We welcome volunteers to help in the ReStore loading and unloading, cleaning, testing and repairing donated items and helping customers.

Office Support Volunteers

You can volunteer without lifting a hammer or shop tools if you can work in the office on mailings, event planning and general office activities.  Do you have a few hours a day or week to answer telephones, assist with special mailings, filing, data entry or a number of other administrative tasks?  If your answer is yes, then Habitat for Humanity is the place for you!

 Board and Committee Members

Are you interested in getting involved with Montcalm County Habitat on a deeper level? We have positions available on our board of directors as well as several committees as described below.
